What started as a conversation between three friends over coffee has grown into something much bigger: a community of women who believe great style doesn't have to come with a designer price tag.

We named ourselves Californian Made because of where our inspiration comes from — that easy, unfussy West Coast way of dressing, translated for British lives and British weather. No pretence. No pressure. Just quality pieces that feel like home, and a straight answer to every question you might have.

It all began when three women in their 40s, navigating the same frustrations, realised something: the fashion industry had forgotten about them.

Too trendy. Too expensive. Too uncomfortable. Too… young.

They wanted clothes that actually fit their lives. Pieces that worked for school runs and dinner with friends. Quality that lasted beyond a few washes. Styles that made them feel confident without trying too hard.

So they decided to create it themselves.
